Dirty Clothes
John 13:36-38; Luke 22:54-62 | Peter’s story of guilt and shame is one for the ages. He was part of Jesus’ inner circle, but on the night of His arrest, Peter passionately denied Jesus. He even swore that he didn’t know Jesus. Then, they made momentary eye contact, and Peter ran off and wept bitterly. This message will examine how to recover from our worst sins.
Over Death
Luke 24:1-9 | “He is not here, but has risen.” Those seven words spoken at the empty tomb changed everything for all of us. Because of Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection, we can experience new life.
Jesus’ Messy Friends
Luke 2:1-20 | The shepherds who visited Jesus after his birth were a rough crowd. Shepherds were looked down upon, ostracized, and lived in the margins of a “respectable” society. The kind of people that surrounded Jesus when He was born were a foreshadowing of the kind of people He would befriend later in life. In this message, we will learn that Jesus was and still is a friend to sinners like us.
Laugh Often
Job 8:21, Proverbs 15:15, 17:22, 18:24, Psalm 126:2, Luke 10:17-21 | Of all the most important things in life good friends and laughter would be near the top of the list. Neither is complete without the other; they’re “emotional” twins. In this message we’ll look at the blessings of laughter and friendship.
