Who We Are
At Southland Students, we aim to create a space where students can truly feel belonging. Every student is challenged to discover their genuine identity in Jesus, beyond the trends of culture and influence of social media. We aim for each student to deeply connect with Jesus, engage in small groups, and love God and people, daily, in their homes, schools, and wherever they go!
Southland Students exists to help students live With Jesus, In Community, and On Mission
What We Do
At Southland Students, every Wednesday we meet is a chance for growth, community, and a deeper connection with Jesus. Through our weekly services, small group discussions, and retreats or trips, we aim to create spaces to form genuine friendships and a spiritual foundation. We want to understand Jesus better and reflect His love in our daily lives. There’s a place for every student to get plugged in at Students!
-
Every Wednesday through the school year from 7-9 pm at each campus Middle School and High School students gather to have fun, engage in worship and Biblical teaching, and connect with other students and adult leaders.
-
Middle School Groups happen each Wednesday as a part of Southland Student Services. Students are placed in groups based on their grade and sex. They’re led by adult small group leaders for a time of games, discussion, and the opportunity to take important next steps in their faith.
High School Groups happen in homes throughout the week, separate from our Students services. Students register for groups and will be placed in groups based on factors like date availability, leader/friend requests, or group proximity to where they live. Our home groups are led by adult small group leaders and hosted in homes that have been hand-picked and vetted by our Students staff.

Students have the opportunity to go on life-changing trips and retreats with Southland Students. These trips are designed for students to step out of the rhythm and routine of their lives to have fun, grow and strengthen their relationship with God and with their friends, and be challenged and inspired to start making a difference back in their cities and homes.
