Dirty Clothes
John 13:36-38; Luke 22:54-62 | Peter’s story of guilt and shame is one for the ages. He was part of Jesus’ inner circle, but on the night of His arrest, Peter passionately denied Jesus. He even swore that he didn’t know Jesus. Then, they made momentary eye contact, and Peter ran off and wept bitterly. This message will examine how to recover from our worst sins.
Universalism
Matthew 25:31-46, John 14:6 | When we believe that everyone will be saved we deny our need for a Savior and the Savior Himself. Jesus is clear that not everyone will be saved which should create an urgency in us to submit to Him and tell others about Him.
Relativism
John 8:31-32; 18:37-38 | How can the statement “there is no truth” be true? It’s self-defeating and contradictory. When we fail to acknowledge truth we can’t make sense of the world and we lose a firm foundation to live on. When Jesus tells us that the truth will set us free He’s making a promise that if we anchor our lives in Him we will experience the freedom we long for.
Spring
John 2:1-11 | Jesus liked parties and special events. We find him feasting, celebrating, and rejoicing throughout the Bible. One thing’s for sure: He knew how to live. In this message we’ll look at a wedding he attended in Galilee and how it brought life, joy, and hope to everyone else who was there and how it was a shadow of a future feast.
Fall
John 5:1-15 | Every living thing changes. Even clocks constantly reset themselves. We do one of two things with change: we can either embrace it, or try to ignore it. The healthy approach is adaptation and maturity, which includes accepting the necessity of change. In this message we’ll learn how change makes us stronger and wiser.
Eat Well
I Corinthians 10:31, Genesis 1:29, 9:3, Ecclesiastes 9:7, John 4:34) | Food involves celebrating, entertaining, nourishment, hospitality, and community. There are dangers to both overeating and under-eating. The key is balance and nutritious food. In this message we’ll look at a healthy approach to healthy eating.
